Our Tour Participants Are The Greatest
Thanks to all who join us for our bicycle tours each summer. Here are some comments you have sent our way.

It was great. The scenery was spectacular and biking was a great way to see it. Further, as long as you were prepared to swallow your pride and take the sag wagon there was no reason why an averagely fit person couldn’t take the ride. Generally the organization gave you support but didn’t run your life.
I think the routes, the mileage, the sequence of the challenges, were all just right... At first, I was thinking the days were too short, but then I realized that not only was there plenty else to do, but there was lots of recovery time for the next challenge.
(B.) and I would like to commend you and your staff for an absolutely wonderful bicycle trip around the eastern part of P.E.I. which we did with you. It was everything we expected and more. We were very impressed by the organization of the tour. Itineraries were very detailed and well planned, with suggestions for stops along the way, but at the same time extremely flexible so people could start, stop, and continue the trip at leisure.
It’s a treat to be able to enjoy such a well-run event.
Thank you again for another wonderful experience. I now have the winter to ponder which trip I will join next year.
I appreciated the slow transition into more challenging rides as the tour progressed each day offered new sights to see and appreciate. I always felt safe and accounted for throughout each ride and that I would make it safely to the day's final destination despite any accidental detours. Overall it was an amazing trip and I hope to join other tours in the future.
Like the independence of the structure, not herding together of the whole group. Like the variety of eating, sleeping, and activities available. The organizing of the food in the crates with shopping along the way was superb. The cooking arrangements worked very well. There was plenty of hot water, dishes, soap, propane. All that was very good.
Wow! How can we thank you enough for this life changing experience. You gave us such a gift! Thank you for being you!

Liked the group camaraderie, the scenery, the buzz, the style of the tour. Don’t change the style. Like a big group camping trip things go wrong, but if the attitude is right, it all works out.
The Newfoundland Trip was great- Day 8 with the wind, rain and cold I could have done without but then there was no charge for that.
It was a wonderful trip-thanks for all your organization. I hope to ride again with ACC!
You have been able to provide a person from the States a glimpse into the beauty and culture of a spectacular province. I have also got to hang out with cool Canadians. Thanks for your dedication and hard work.
This is our third tour with Atlantic Canada Cycling. We are excited and looking forward to another great vacation.

We really enjoyed the freedom to tour Nova Scotia seeing what we wanted and without needing deadlines.
Overall, the ACC tours offer a unique experience with lots of great biking, outstanding routes, and always a great group of fellow riders. For a few weeks when we get back home we are in great shape!
The trip was a joy in many ways. Very challenging for me, but finding that I could do it was exhilarating. I’ve returned in a better place with myself and the world. Ill detour for the Newfoundland tour next year.
I had been on 7 ACC tours, prior, and knew what to expect. Great time, great route, great attendees.
Good cycling, good camping and well organized logistics. I had a wonderful time. Great route, beautiful countryside. The distances were not too great leaving room for whatever individuals wanted to do during the ride. I liked the aspect that we could go at our own speed.
Helpful crew, accurate maps and cue sheets, good planning, like-minded participants. All my expectations were met - I particularly appreciated the general organization of the tour and the friendly crew.
Thanks for a great tour - hope to do more next summer material (daily maps, route description, opportunities for food, etc) was excellent.
I have already sent emails with photo attachments to several friends that I think might be interested to join me next year. I will certainly be back.
I know there are other cycling tour options to choose from and there is a reason people pick ACC over them. You all provide just the right amount of support and tell it like it is, which I appreciate. From the crew to the riders, everyone is there to enjoy the ride and share in a beautiful experience. I hope your future tours are successful and I hope to be back next year for another adventure. Thank you so much for providing the services to make this possible and I wish you guys all the best!
It was a great experience with a really good, fun group and good logistical support. You have figured our an excellent set of systems to make these tours run super-smoothly.
This was my favorite organized bike trip thus far. I've been on five before this one. PEI is absolutely beautiful! You did an outstanding job on this trip- kudos to you!

I appreciated everyone's efforts and how hard you all worked to make this a strong, supportive and fun event. Everyone did a great job, and I appreciated knowing you were all there. Overall, it was a challenging and immersive experience but a very rewarding one, and I am really grateful I got a chance to do it.
Liked the organization, the challenge of the "hills", the rush of awesome downhills, meeting neat people, having a hot shower, great weather, scenery …the fact that I did it!
Liked freedeom to ride at our own pace and schedule and eating on our own without commitments.
I thought the tour was run very smoothing, with just enough surprises (good ones) to enhance the experience. ...guide kept in touch with everybody and informed of what to expect, where to find food, local suppers, distances, etc.
The founder and chairman of ACC is an awesome tour operator. Thank you for your good work! The ACC trip I take every summer is truthfully the highlight of my year.

My first ride, Baja, Mexico was done in the 80's. The second goal was the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I rode this in July. The opportunity was Gary Conrod, (www.atlanticcanadacycling.com) who conducted a tour of the trail as part of his schedule of rides.
Gary runs well organized but hands off tours. He trucks your luggage, arranges for campgrounds, and supplies a simple route sheet. The rest is up to you. The cue sheet gives one word directions (left, right) at local landmarks. One day he used an actual sentence... “Left, Listen! We Said Left! Don’t Go Up The Hill”. You get the idea. A unique feature of the cue sheet is that it locates the first and last restaurant of the day and a likely stop for lunch (if they are open). And for those eating in camp, the location of a store where you may put your bagged purchase in a bin provided. Gary will then pick it up and bring it to camp for the end of the day. Ice cream is not a good purchase.

The remoteness, land, sea and people touch us somewhere deep inside that we like. The trip filled a special spot in our life hope will be with us forever. Living down here is sometimes like living in a blender. NF and PEI remind us of who we really are.
It's a lot of fun, you make friends from all over.

I had a really rough day suffering from a migraine and I found the support team very helpful, stopping to check on me every once in a while and taking me to the hospital very promptly. You were very helpful and I thank you sincerely
It was better than expected. Lots of support, camaraderie and amazing cycling!
You started with the incredible Gros Morne and ended with the remarkable Viking Village. Everything in between - the coves, moose, fox, ferry rides, ice bergs - was terrific!

I like how relaxed the itinerary was laid out - we had the option of eating out or buying food to cook ourselves. It was helpful to have those hints mentioned on our maps for sure.
Beautiful scenery, well planned routes, nice camping areas, good showers, competent staff, usable information for each days' activities. It is always nice when the people on the tour all get along and interact well together.
We really enjoyed our tour of NFLD last summer and know how well organized Gary and his crew are in helping to make this tour memorable.
We have done the Cape Breton, Newfoundland and Eastern PEI tours over the past four summers. Always a great time and amazing for my legs and cardio. I like seafood too and being out East. Can't wait.

We have travelled with various bike touring companies,you are one of the well organized,super service,and happy crews of all. Till next trip.
I highly recommend this trip. The camping facilities were great (I did stay in a B&B at Crows Head). Labrador was magnificent. I liked the idea of being able to hike, cycle and perhaps sea kayak all in one day. I would recommend bringing along some water proofed booties for cycling as we did have rain one evening. Also I recommend taking along warm clothes as it can get quite cool especially as you travel farther north. A good tent is essential too in case you get rain.
I met a great bunch of people on the Tour. Gary and his staff did a terrific job. It is a trip I could easily repeat and I highly recommend it as a place you must see.
My time on your biking expedition in Newfoundland was a life changing experience. I still remain friends with people I met on that trip. You have given so many a huge gift by organizing and helping all of us enjoy such incredible experience.
What a great vacation it was! We were a very great group and we enjoyed the company of each of you! Also thanks for the amazing organization! Everything was perfect!

I enjoyed the "discovery" aspect and the relaxed attitude greatly.
This was my second tour - the first was so enjoyable, I wanted to do another. Well organized, good camping grounds, doable to a range of abilities. Wonderful tour in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
The website gave the impression that it was arranged and hosted by an expert in the area and biking, as well as, a great balance of information, quirkiness and humour. And amazing pictures to peruse. Also, the reasonable price, camping and the laid back feel of the descriptions, socializing, options, etc.

We participated in the PEI tour five years ago. Had such a good time that we talked [friends] into joining us this time. We appreciated all the extras that were a part of this trip.

I rode a couple of times with you on Cabot Trail trip. I still wear the ti-shirt from the trip. Maybe you remember me, I had all kinds of bicycle trouble, My front gears feel apart on the first day, my bicycle seat broke off on the second day and on the third day my front tire needed to be changed. You never asked for any extra money only the cost of the new tire. At the end of the trip I gave you $100 for all your troubles, but you deserved much more.
Thanks to you again for all the help. It was a fanatastic trip despite all my bike problems.

I would like to say thank you for one of the best event I have ever participated in. It was great. I do have one regret, it is that I never did it before now. I loved the people I met, a great bunch of people and your staff was very helpful and great to have around.
Well organized but allows a lot of individual freedom. Met our expectations re distances / camping / organisation and cost. We would definitely like to do many tours with ACC again.
I had a great time. Loved it.. ..felt like I really got to see an in-depth view of nova Scotia that many visitors didn't

ACC tours are absolutely the highlight of my year. What's not to like. Good staff, good leader. You should consider charging more; running close to the margin can't be low-stress.
Please realize that the last two (tours) in which I participated hold especially fond memories for me and I appreciate your part in making them.
I just wanted to say thank you in general for a wow tour. I thought you id a fine job of working hard to meet our needs and answer our unending questions.

I arrived back with a sore bum and a tired body but I was ecstatic with the ride I’d done. Even in less-than-ideal weather I would do it again in a heart beat. This tour was impressive, especially considering the price. I felt taken care of along the way. I would recommend it to any first year rider who is looking for a great challenge and awesome excuse to take a road trip out East!

Thank you for making the recent PEI tour a memorable one for us. We enjoyed every day of riding including the one windy day. We really appreciated the extras ie;Lobster feast, the Center accommodations and providing transportation to include us with the campers. PEI is a wonderful place to ride on safe rural roads and trails. Hopefully (we) will be able to participate in one of your other tours in the future.

I have participated in over 30 multi-day bike tours since 1994. The ACC tours have been among the best and I will certainly return for more tours with Gary. I will keep an eye on your website to see what you have planned for next year and the years to come.
I am ready to sign up for next year. The trip had a great flow, staff worked very hard, a great way to see the Atlantic provinces. Well done.

A great time cycling, a great group of people, a least one crappy rain day, good Quebec beer and food! The path back to Levi was absolutely fantastic. Seeing the mountains on the north shore and the St. Lawrence together just blew my mind.
The route planning was fantastic. Support crew were superb. Organization of the truck and equipment was amazing. Staff knowledge of the area was really good.
22 years ago my wife bought me a bike, I got hooked then I looked for a goal, found your website, and the Cabot trail run. Yes I made it , hard but rewarding, and I came back for a total of five Cabot trail runs with you. Now age and illness has slowed me but I have a lot good memories of yours tours
Excellent SAG, affordable, well organized. I'm not sure I would recommend any changes. The tours are an excellent blend of value and new experiences.
The group dynamics were the most important factor to me in having a good tour and they were really excellent. There was a positive supportive and hospitable energy on the whole tour. It feels wrong not to be seeing you all again! I'm certainly up for more ACC tours in the future. Peace, love, happiness...see you on the road.
